3 Months In — People Are Starting to Notice
Three months in, I was down 53 pounds. Other people were starting to notice the difference, dieting was getting easier, and I was realizing how much easier it was becoming to simply move.
Three months in.
On June 20, I was down to 356 pounds.
That meant I had lost 53 pounds since starting at 409.
And something different was happening now.
People were starting to notice.
After spending months watching the scale myself, hearing other people mention the changes made everything feel a little more real.
Dieting was also getting easier. The things that had felt like a constant effort at the beginning were slowly becoming more normal.
Around this time, I also started using Tesamorelin as part of what I was doing.
But one of the biggest signs of progress that month had nothing to do with the scale or what I was taking.
Summer Camp
I took the youth kids from church to Summer Camp.
Camp means a lot of walking. A lot of standing. A lot of going from one place to another. And this time I noticed something:
It was easier.
I could walk more easily. I could move around more easily. I wasn’t struggling with my body in quite the same way.
That’s the kind of progress that’s hard to put into a number.
Yes, I was 53 pounds lighter. You can see how the numbers were changing month by month on my progress page.
But being able to spend that time with the kids and actually feel the difference in what my body could do was probably an even better measurement of how far I had come.
Three months in, other people were starting to see the change.
I was starting to feel it.
And by the four-month mark, everyday life was getting noticeably easier too.
