The Numbers That Matter More - Real Progress!

Summer was busy, but I was feeling good. A July checkup brought some encouraging news: my labs looked great, my blood pressure was lower, and my doctor could see my health was improving.

The Numbers That Matter More - Real Progress!

July was mostly normal summer busyness.

I was staying active, trying to keep up with the gym, and generally feeling pretty good.

But this month gave me another way to measure how things were going.

I had a checkup with my doctor.

My labs came back with great numbers, and my doctor noticed that my blood pressure was lower too.

Most importantly, he could see that my overall health was improving.

More Than the Scale

Obviously, I’ve been paying a lot of attention to the number on the scale during this journey. I keep track of that part on my progress page.

It’s hard not to.

But sitting in the doctor’s office and hearing that the numbers inside my body were improving felt different.

Lower weight is great.

Smaller clothes are great.

But better labs, lower blood pressure, and a doctor telling me that my health is moving in the right direction?

Those are the numbers that really matter.

That’s what getting healthy was supposed to be about in the first place.

And as the summer continued, I started noticing those changes showing up in everyday life too.
